This worked fine before I re-installed Windows 11 Home 25H2 from scratch. I have 11000+ jpg files in "D:\My Pictures". When I run the scan it completes in around one second. There are no image files in the root My Pictures folder. Here is the last log file

Please check whether scanning subfolders is disabled for the "D:\My Pictures" folder in the source folder list.

I found the problem. The folder filter option was set to "Inclusive" rather than "Exclusive" so only the folders in the list were being scanned. One bit-flip and it's now working.
