Select/Deselect problem

Hi, I'm a new user.
A week ago when I used AllDup, I remember being able to select some groups at a time, and when I chose select/deselect all files options, it only applied to the selected groups. But from yesterday, those options applied to all groups including the unselected ones.
Is it an error? Do I have any other option to apply to only the groups that I want?
