Hello. I downloaded AllDup to try it out and found it does not meet my specific needs. I would now like to delete the software. I tried to use the Windows 11 uninstall procedure, but it informed me that there were remaining files that could not be uninstalled, and I would have to do that manually. I located remaining AllDup files at C:\Program Files (x86)\AllDup, but I cannot manually delete any of these files because access is denied. I have tried to perform these deletions in both user and administrator modes. Could you kindly let me know how I may remove these files? Thank you.
Howard
Here the command line results:
C:\Program Files (x86)\AllDup>del AllDup.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\AllDup\AllDup.exe
Access is denied.

Re: Cannot fully uninstall AllDup because of file protection
"Access is denied." means that the user doesnt have enough access rights to perform this action.
Please try this:
1. Restart your Computer
2. Re-Install AllDup
3. Uninstall AllDup again
Does this fix the "Access is denied" problem?
