AllSync & AllDup

Is it possible to use gmail as the smtp server? I just tried and couldn't get it to work. I get an error like the following.

Server: 530 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first

It appears from the gmail server configuration for email clients that this might be possible but i am not sure.

sorry, gmail is not possbile. AllSync cant connect to smtp-servers that only support ssl-smtp (STARTTLS).
