Can AllSync be set to completely ignore a directory?

We're using AllSync to copy files from a staging network drive to a production web server.
There is a temporary files directory on the destination web server that routinely has many thousands of files in it.
We've set the AllSync profile to filter that directory -- and when the copy preview is run, it does show that no files will be copied from the source version of the temporary files directory to the destination temporary files directory.
However, Allsync seems to be analyzing the contents of the destination temporary files directory -- which takes a long time.
We're planning to use this profile for quick updates of the production servers after a new/changed file is added to the staging environment. This would work much better if the destination temporary files folder did not have to be analyzed.
Is there a setting that can accomplish this?
Thanks.
