AllDup not find dups

I just started using AllDup and it seemed to work but now when I compare two folders with known dups, it does not find any.
It looks like some of the pics are reversed, but this should not matter? I tried with various orientation options on and off.
I could send two of the dups to check?

You can upload them (if they're small enough).
Or just host them somewhere & post a link to them.

Thanks, here is a link to a few dups that don't get found, even when they are in the same folder.

It's having a tough time.
Tried a different program & it too wasn't particularly successful.

aHash, 83%, entire picture, 16x16, & Detect picture modifications (all enabled)

With that, it finally found Bild0019.jpg & BillL.DavidBoshkungCottageJan1970_4.JPG as "dups".
But then, it also found a different set of non-dups as dups.

I was not able to get Bild0014.jpg & DadWyomingRoadTripJul70_1.JPG to be seen as dups.

Oddly, Bild0003.jpg & Bild0007.jpg were often noted as "dups".

(I'm not particular proficient in picture dups, but I've been dabbling of late. With what I've been going though, I dropped the % to 93%, & that seems to be low enough to pick up wanted items while also returning relatively few false dups. If I dropped down to 83%, I'd guess I'd be in the realm of mostly false dups.)

1970. I'd venture to say it was a better world then.
(Except the internet wouldn't have been quite as quick ;-).)
I too remember camping, in popup tents, Coleman stoves & SPAM.

i got this results with mHash:

mhash1.jpg
mhash2.jpg
mhash3.jpg

Code: Select all

Comparison method: mHash
Match: 80%
Detect picture modifications: Flipped horizontally
