How do I set the program up to use VLC Media Player 64-bit?

AllDup only supports the 32bit version of VLC.

I have uninstalled 64 bit VLC and installed 32 version and I still get
"INFO: Unable to detect VLC Media Player 32-bit version 3 on your system"

Have you disabled the ActiveX plugin when installing the VLC player?

I simply installed VLC using it's defaults.
The 32 bit msi did not ask about ActiveX.
Should I have done something different?

Seems like the ActiveX control did not get installed.
I had to run this in an elevated command prompt.
