In AllDup → Search Method, how does "Pixel" differ from "Comparison Size"?

Please see the underlines below in red and green. If "Pixel" refers to "Picture area", then what does "Comparison size" mean?

The "Comparison size" refers to the "Comparison Method". Comparison method description from the manual: "The comparison method pHash (Perceptual Hash) resizes the image to 8x8, 16x16 or 24x24 pixel."
