I am trying to get the scheduler to run whilst logged off.
The service would not start either form the Service Tool or the Service Console.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the Service Tool as as well as ALLSYNC itself. I rebooted after the uninstalls as well. All to no avail.
Can someone please help?

Re: Error #1053 when starting Service
The error 1053 can appear when the scheduler is activated. Please exit the scheduler and try it again with the service tool. Also check the file service.log for some informations about the error.
Re: Error #1053 when starting Service
I exited the scheduler and even checked to see if had left behind any remnants using Process Explorer (from Systernals). When trying to restart the service, either from the TOOL or the Services MMC, I get the saem error.Administrator wrote:The error 1053 can appear when the scheduler is activated. Re: Error #1053 when starting Service
The scheduler service quits because no license information could be found. I think the used "User Account" for the service have not enough rights. Which account do you use for the service? Admin?

Maybe you installed AllSync via "user A" and now you want to start the scheduler service via the account of "user B". But "user B" dont have enough rights to check for the license of "user A" on your system.
Try installing and starting the service with the user account you have used to install AllSync.

That is not the case. Allsync was installed under account A. I used Account A to install and start the scheduler.
Is there a way to use the Windows Task Scheduelr and command line to run AllSync automatically? If yes, is it possible to have AllSYnc send the email notice when it runs under Windows Task Scheduler?

There must be a reason why the scheduler service have no access to the registry...That is not the case. Allsync was installed under account A. I used Account A to install and start the scheduler.
You can use every task scheduler you prefer for scheduling. Please use the Shortcut Manager of AllSync to create the command line.Is there a way to use the Windows Task Scheduelr and command line to run AllSync automatically?
No, this is only available with the Allync Scheduler. Why don't you use the AllSync Scheduler? You don't have to run it as a service...or?If yes, is it possible to have AllSYnc send the email notice when it runs under Windows Task Scheduler?
How can AllSync run then if I am not logged on? This is a remote server. Please tell me how to make the Scheduelr run without it being a service.Administrator wrote:There must be a reason why the scheduler service have no access to the registry...That is not the case. Could this have anythign to do with the problem?
My ini file reads:
[Allgemein]
Lang=9
Dateiname=AllSync
Version=2.6.0
Programmtyp=Demoversion
User=?
Registriert=0
What about a complete uninstall and reinstall?

Ok, if your not logged on, you need to run the scheduler as a servie...How can AllSync run then if I am not logged on? This is a remote server. Please tell me how to make the Scheduelr run without it being a service.

Maybe, but i dont think this would help.What about a complete uninstall and reinstall?
The message "No license information could be found" at the logfile of the service means, that the used account for the scheduler service dont have enough rights to check for the necessary license information of AllSync. Please check the user rights of your used account for registry access. If the used account cannot retrieve the information from the registry the service cant startup.
Do you use a local admin account for installing the service?
