Clarification For “Delete Empty Folders”

In the File Manager dialog of AllDup’s Results window, there is an option to Delete Empty Folders.
What exactly does this do? Presumably it deletes folders that have no files or folders in them, but specifically, what folders does it apply to? Does it remove all folders that are empty or only ones that it deletes files from?
Say that there is the following structure on the disk:
Both copies of myfile.txt are identical as are both copies of blah.txt.
If you select to delete the files from B, then what happens? Presumably B\FOO\BAR gets deleted, but does B\FOO\BAZ also get deleted even though AllDup didn’t remove anything from it? If so, then does B go altogether? What about A\FOO\BAZ? Does that get deleted because it’s empty even though not only did AllDup not delete any files from it, but it was not even selected?
Thanks.
