We are backing up (1:1 copy) one disk to another.
Everything seemed to be working fine, but I noticed that files were being copied over even though the content was not changed.
Looking more closely, it appear that if a file's Archive bit is set then Allsync will copy the file, even though the modified time (and file size) are identical.
This is causing a lot of trouble for me. We have other software that "touches" the files on the source, and Archive bits could be set (or reset) at any time.
Is there a way that we can tell Allsync (v2.6 Business Edition) to ignore the Archive bit on the source side?
Other than this issue, this is one great program.
Cheers,
ronald.

Re: Archive bit causes files to be copied.
Maybe you have activated the copy option "Copy only files with the 'Archive' attribute"?
Normally AllSync don't use the file attributes to determine to copy a file or not. At the copy mode "1:1 copy" AllSync uses only the following rule: "Overwrite file if the modified date/time of the files is different".
