not working with Korean Characters

- finding condition : file size comparison, unicode-text support option enabled, windows 10 korean ver., NTFS
-> result (file count) is incorrect
-> test files are almost korean and english file names. but result is displayed almost meaningless chinese characters.

plz check & fix it

Everything looks fine with your korean files using the Font "Arial Unicode MS":

Select another font that support korean characters for your search result and i guess it will fix the problem.
(search result -> menu bar -> options -> select font)

I tested in the following fonts including "Arial Unicode MS", but none of them worked. (Same result)
-noto sans cjk (provided by Google)
-malgeun gothic (included in Korean Windows 10)

By the way,
the files in the "[Channel] Cooking tree 쿠킹트리" folders worked by file size. it has only display problem.
but the files in the "[Channel] 브릿센트 x 영국영어" and "[Channel] 마미오븐 MOMMY OVEN" folders did not worked. (not counted)

i guess THE PROBLEM is causes by your windows settings for non-unicode programs:

AllDup already displays the korean characters correctly but your Windows "thinks" it must convert the displayed characters to korean...the outcome we can see at your screenshot...
Set the language to english and try it again. Does this fix the problem?

after changing system locale, it works 99% except some characters. it's ok. i can recognize what file it is.

But the bigger problem is other non-unicode based Korean application has malfunctioned.
For now, i think it can be used temporarily, but I hope it is fixed so that it does not 'change system locale' someday.

Your current selected font of the search result doesnt support these characters. try another font.

I tried Arial Unicode MS, Noto Sans, "맑은 고딕" (Korean based font)
But all were same result.

Maybe there is a font that can display that characters,
but I don't need it as I can already recognize the file.
because I think there will be another side effect if I don't use regular fonts.

There is no fix for this problem because the unicode option from Microsoft is like "all or nothing".
You can't opt-out an app from this option...
