Unexpected Behavior: Search Results, Close Results

(This is with 3.9.24, I'll assume it applies also to 4.0.8.)

Unexpected Behavior: Search Results, Close Results -> Save search results and exit...

'Save as' file picker dialog pops up...
Cancel.

You are returned to the Search Window.
All results are lost.


Expected:

Cancel.
You are returned to the Search Results window, allowing you to change the method of your 'exit' - or anything else that you can normally do within that window.

"Aborting" the save as dialog should not infer that you wanted to loose all your existing results, it should only abort the dialog itself, & return you back to where you were, as you were.
