Create shortcuts or hardlinks to the last original file

"Create shortcuts or hardlinks to the last original file". This text is from the help menu in AllDup version 3.0.2. I am not able to find this option anywhere. Is it not implemented yet?

On the menu bar, click the "Search Result" menu, and select the "Delete, copy, move or..." menu item. Now check the options at the new window.

I wonder why I tried the newly downloaded version but it did NOT create a hard link with option delete files in place.

The hard link was not created at all in my windows 2003 SP2 server.

If I use shortcut, it is working fine.

The hdd must be formatted with NTFS. There is a windows service called "TrkWks": http://searchtasks.answersthatwork.com/ ... ile=TrkWks
Maybe this service should be running.
