I'm looking for information on the remote connection feature of allsync, I'm thinking of upgrading but I can't find an explanation of how this feature works?

The "Remote Access Connection" is a feature of your Winwos Operation System. First you must create a new connection via the Remote Access Connection Manager from Windows and them you can use this connection profile with AllSync.
