I have 2 files in question among others. The two are equal in all respects except creation date: one in 2005 the other in 2009.
I opted to select all but the oldest, however, the 2005 file is marked for deletion. There are many pairs marked like this.
To complicate matters, there are other pairs in the same directory that marks as expected. Can you explain this outcome?
Files copied in Windows usually maintain modified date and has a new created date. So this behaviour is unexpected.
I use the current version of AllDup.
Unexpected behaviour with "all except newest/oldest

Re: Unexpected behaviour with "all except newest/oldest
The option "select all but the oldest/newest" compares the last modified date...
