How do I set automatic drive letter assignment with "%MDL:driveposition%"? The drop-down box is not editable in "connecting drives -> add network drive"...

Sorry, i dont really understand your problem. Can you give more informations?

example:

if you connect the path \\networkcomputer\c$ to drive X: with the option "connecting drives" and the drive appear as no.1 in the list then you must use "%MDL:1%"

Perhaps I didn't understand this feature.

I have many profiles, and I though that instead of connecting \\server\share to X:, I could somehow define a "wildcard" drive letter, so AllSync would automatically choose an available drive letter. That way I can run multiple simultaneous tasks without worring about whether two of them might be trying to assign the same drive letter.

I think this is a good feature to have :)
