Results List focus is lost if you 'Show Log'

Results List focus is lost if you 'Show Log'.


If you're working your way down a long Results List, & if for some reason you 'Show Log', Show Log displays, which is fine, but at that point, focus is lost (in the List [as it has jumped to the top of the List when you clicked, Show Log]).

If the log opened in a non-modal window, or if... such that focus was not lost, would be nice.

The focus is not lost when you show the log. The first node in the search result tree named "Search Result" is connected with the log. That's the reason why the first node will be activated when you show the log.

Yes, I understand that.

But by "jumping" to the first node, focus is then... lost (IMO), from where you where, from what you had been doing.

If "closing" the Log (if you will), returned you back to where you were before you went to the first node..., then you would be where (or back to where) you were, before, (& all would be good [but that does not happen]).

With the next update the focus will go back to the last highlighted node after closing the preview pane with the log.
