Find Similar Pictures + file extensions
Find Similar Pictures has a,
+ file extensions, option.
To me, that should mean that a .jpg is compared to another .jpg, & not to a .png.
But, it seems that CASE matters.
So 123.jpg is not compared against 456.JPG.
And I'm not certain & without looking, but...
I'll suspect (?) that + file extensions also would consider .jpg to be different from .jpeg.
IMO...
+ file extensions should treat case differences as =
so jpg = JPG = JpG ...
likewise jpg should = jpeg (or jpe for that matter)
i.e. "common" extension varients of a particular
extension "type" should not be treated differently
simply because of the particular extension used
i would think that /intended/ meaning of
+ file extension would be to not compare
diverse image types against one another
like .gif to .jpg or .ico to .svg kind of thing
