My alldup is garbled when deleting duplicate files and keeping shortcuts

You can see my screenshot, the shortcut generated by the deleted file is all garbled, and the location is also scrambled, how to deal with it?

As shown in the figure, a large number of junk files without suffixes, garbled file names, and not shortcuts are generated. The system is Win11 in Chinese language, is there a way to restore it? The file is still in the recycle bin, how to clear these garbled files?

Delete the files/shortcuts with the wrong names and after restore the deleted files from the windows recycle bin.

We did a test with asian file names and creating shortcuts; everything looks fine.
Maybe the problem has something to do with your windows unicode settings?

How to batch delete these garbled files? It's a little too many, scattered in different folders, maybe more than 10,000...

Use the search function of the windows explorer and search for "�" to get a list with all files containing this character in the name. Select all founded files and delete them.

For finding files, there is nothing better then Everything.

Assuming you're wanting to find �, enter that as a search term.
And if you want .lnk files, search for, � ext:lnk, should do it.

(Be sure what you are finding is what you want to delete.)
