folder filter

Post by iu »

I would like AllSync to perform a 1:1 copy of files that appear in folders named "Posted" and ignore all the other folders. "Posted" folders are subfolders and are located in multiple folders. That is, \Dog\Posted & \Cat\Posted & \Bird\Posted. Is this possible?

Re: folder filter

I think this will be possible with the following file filter text:

*\posted\*

Thank you. The file filter text *\posted\* does copy only the files in the folder \Posted. However it also copies all of the other folders, although not the files within them.

Here is what I'd like to do.

Say I have the following folders:
\Dog\Posted
\Dog\Working
\Cat\Posted
\Cat\Working

I would like to end up with the following in the destination folder:
\Dog\Posted
\Cat\Posted

Using the *\posted\* filter gives me this:
\Dog\Posted (files copied)
\Dog\Working (empty)
\Cat\Posted (files copied)
\Cat\Working (empty)

which is not what I want.

Thanks!

Please activate the folder option "Don't create any empty folders in source or destination folder".
