AllSync & AllDup

I have used older versions of AllDup in the past without any problems, but with 4.5.3 deleting a single file takes over a minute in File Manager.

Can you post a screenshot of your file manager settings?

I just tried deleting a file in 4.4.56 with the default settings and I see the same slowness. So the problem is with my computer and not the latest version of AllDup.

Any ideas why it would take so long to delete a single file?

If you delete a file from within Windows Explorer, is that also slow?
Disk full? Horribly fragmented?

Hard drive bad or going bad?
(As a start) check S.M.A.R.T, CrystalDisklnfo.
