Will it be possible to compare both simultaneously?

That was the whole point of my request, to be able to compare filenames and length at the same time. just like what we can now do with Size for example.

Hi,

Just tried the new version.

I wonder though is it possible to add the options below when we check Lenght and filenames?

The issue with using metadata to dedup similar is there's high number of false positives. Currently, AllDup does not allow for fast or easy sorting to find the needles in the haystack. Unless one is willing to export and build Excel View for each specific purpose.

Secondly, duration test given identical names would be too strict. The users are better off using just similar name search, and sort by duration if possible.

Other than adding similar names to the duration test, another direction is to compare the actual audio signature of audio and video files. For example, there are "duplicates" of podcasts in different formats, in .mp4 or .mp3 formats of varying bitrates and duration. Or, there are videos essentially the same but given the near-identical soundtracks, the videos dups can then be detected.
