Results List focus is lost if you 'Show Log'

Results List focus is lost if you 'Show Log'. If you're working your way down a long Results List, & if for some reason you 'Show Log', Show Log displays, which is fine, but at that point, focus is lost (in the List [as it has jumped to the top of the List when you clicked, Show Log]). If the lo...

Re: Similar Pictures, explain concept of "100%"

SHA1 confirms that, says, not identical. And it seems that even a SHA1 hash of 100% potentially might not be 100%, either. Even an Image Search, SHA1 "100%" can have some "leniency" (as to the 100% part). As in there can be times where the generated .png (which is what "exa...

Re: Similar Pictures, explain concept of "100%"

rounding up from 99.x to 100%
For the cases of ?Hash, should it always report 99% rather then 100%?
That might make one more aware that "100%" might not be quite, 100%.

(More a food for thought question, then looking for an answer.)

Similar Pictures, Comparison method

Similar Pictures, Comparison method Maybe increase the dropdown box by 1, such that there is no vertical scrollbar? When you select a hash method, it is rightfully retained as default, & highlighted the next time you go about clicking the dropdown (arrow). What does happen, is that if any hash i...

UnRAR.dll updated to 6.24

Just to note that UnRAR.dll updated to 6.24 (& the [WinRAR] What's new mentions "a null pointer and crashed...".

(And I could have sworn, that originally, they did reference a CVE in the What's new notes [& now gone]?)

Re: Should FEShlExt.dll be unregistered?

Is the actual 'Register' button (in Options | General | -> Integrate...) superfluous? As in, simply enabling 'Integrate AllDup into the Windows Explorer context menu' is sufficient to get things working (without needing to specifically click the Register button). Or does clicking Register actually d...

Re: Should FEShlExt.dll be unregistered?

Please use the latest version of AllDup and check the version history . Ah, I'm starting to get it. (Sometimes I need to read better, & better understand what I'm reading.) So the ability to use either the Unicode (KuShellExtension64.dll) or the older non-unicode (FEShlExt.dll) version only sta...

Should FEShlExt.dll be unregistered?

Should FEShlExt.dll be (at the least) unregistered (if not removed altogether)? Everything always crashes FEShlExt.dll (Not that I'd think it likely to matter, in any manner ;-), but if a user had the old version installed, & also had the current version installed... unregistering/removing [FESh...

Find Similar Pictures + file extensions Find Similar Pictures has a, + file extensions, option. To me, that should mean that a .jpg is compared to another .jpg, & not to a .png. But, it seems that CASE matters. So 123.jpg is not compared against 456.JPG. And I'm not certain & without looking...
