However, when I run the shortcut (same shortcut ...

Re: 1:1 copy vs. Backup

1. Full daily backups for each day of the week. 2. 1 full backup every Sunday. 3. 1 full backup once a Month. For this you must use the copy mode "backup". What would be your recommendation for creating such a scenario? Would I need 3 profiles here? Or could I use one and have variations ...

1:1 copy vs. Backup

Is it correct to say that the Backup operation is the same as the 1:1 copy operation; but that the Backup operation provides some additional adavanced functionality? I'm asking as I'm in the process of re-creating my profiles I use for backing everything up. Here's what I'm trying to achieve: 1. Ful...

Multiple sources

If I have: 1. A Local drive with source files. 2. A Network Drive with nearly identical source files as the Local drive. Disk Imaging

Hi Michael,

Win2k Professional
AllSync 2.5.1 - Business Edition

Will AllSync create a complete back up image of my system drive. In other words, if I want to port my disk image from my old computer to my new computer, how can I do that with AllSync?

Thank You,

Hi Michael, Win2k Professional AllSync 2.5.1 - Business Edition After a few months of using the shortcut manager to run 4 chained profiles and then shut down my computer, I just realized that AllSync is *not* running the chained profiles. I ran a copy preview yesterday and everything worked fine. I ...

my test with the scheduler service was successful. the scheduler service starts the profile and then the system restarts. no problem. I've tested multiple times. The only time it is successful is when I'm logged onto the system. When I'm not logged on, AllSync simply shuts down the scheduler servic...
