Thanks. 3.9.22 fixes the problems I mentioned yesterday with loading profiles and saving search criteria. I noticed is that I do not get the confirmation dialog when loading a profile but the settings are loaded so that is fine with me.

I do see "Profile was loaded successfully." after double-clicking or right-clicking and loading but no settings from the profile are set in search criteria or search options... this is with the portable version in case that makes a difference... I have profiles named normal, content-byte-b...

In 3.9.21 there seems to be a problem with loading profiles... the settings in profiles do not seem to be set when loading from the GUI or the command line (with -p)

in the context menu (right-click) for files in the search results pane the separator between 'Select all other files in this group' and 'Select all files with the same path' has been removed I'm used to clicking the top entry in that group to 'Select all files with the same path' so I keep clicking ...

When I tested the "Ignore hard links" option it seemed that all hard links were skipped completely, which might be the intended behavior...

what I want is to avoid comparing files which are hardlinks of each other but still search for other dups of those hardlinked files

The new update fixes the resetting of the different source folders option but I am still not seeing the behavior I expect... maybe I am not interpreting the meaning of the different source folders option... I thought that with that option set AllDup would not find dups in the same folder and subfold...

I got the update... the option to choose profiles works well for loading different configurations (thanks for adding that)... but it does not seem to help with the different source folders problem... sending folders to search from the command line still disables that option...
