Unexpected behaviour with "all except newest/oldest
I have 2 files in question among others. The two are equal in all respects except creation date: one in 2005 the other in 2009. I opted to select all but the oldest, however, the 2005 file is marked for deletion. There are many pairs marked like this. To complicate matters, there are other pairs in ...

Your suggestion did not solve that problem. To state differently, assume there are three directories with files: [reference] 1 2 3 4 4x 5 5y 6 [suspect 1] 2 4x 4y 7 8 9 9x 9y [suspect 2] 3 3x 6 7 9 9x 9y now multiply this by hundreds. The intent is to remove the duplicates of [reference] that exist ...

Selecting a file in results alters archive attribute
Selecting a file in the results windows alters that file's archive attribute as per the results window. This appears to be an unwanted feature.

Feature Suggestion
I think folks use products like AllDup for two similar but separate reasons: 1. finding files with identical content (a/o metadata) in a single directory. 2. finding files with identical content (a/o metadata) in a target directory(s) compared to a reference directory. That is, the user is not neces...

Comparison Methods
Hello and thanks for you product.
How are the files compared for duplicity? That is, is it by size > crc hash > full byte to byte, or by some other means.
I need to know to determine my level of confidence in the output. Thanks again.
