Re: Run-time error: 380 Invalid property value
(Not that I know about such things) but on reading "invalid property", so I'm thinking you're gather "properties" (meta-data) from say picture files, & something there is causing the issue. I don't use meta-data search options. Anyhow, at what point in time does the issue ma...

Re: Run-time error: 380 Invalid property value
And just what type of search are you performing? And what settings are you using for that search? File content, Byte by Byte compare. Match 100%. No options ticked under Byte by Byte. Block size etc: 32768, and other defaults. Search options: all unticked, except CPU to low priority. Archive files:...

Re: Run-time error '440'
We have done another test with AllDup 4.3.12 Beta on a fresh installed Win10 Pro v1903 PC and everythings runs without any errors... I get the same error, when doing a large compare (not if I cut the compare in small pieces), but after error 380: https://www.allsync.biz/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=2747 U...

Re: Can't find dupes in folders with unicode characters
If I paste a path into AllDup, it shows questionmarks for the unicode (asian) characters. 1. Delete the faulty folder path from the source folder list. 2. drag&drop your folder from the Windows Explorer into the source folder list Does this help? and With a path of: "C:\TMP\BRU\spaces\ñ á ...

Run-time error: 380 Invalid property value
I often get this error: Run-time error: 380 Invalid property value How to solve? If I do the compare in many chunks (starting at only looking at the largest files, then going down in filesize) instead of one go, it often helps. But that takes a _lot_ more work and time, days instead of hours. If I g...

Can't find dupes in folders with unicode characters
AllDup can't find dupes in folders with unicode characters. If I paste a path into AllDup, it shows questionmarks for the unicode (asian) characters. That is not really the problem for me. The problem is that AllDup doesn't search in these folders (it doesn't do any comparisons), and it says 0 files...
