Perhaps I didn't understand this feature. I have many profiles, and I though that instead of connecting \\server\share to X:, I could somehow define a "wildcard" drive letter, so AllSync would automatically choose an available drive letter. That way I can run multiple simultaneous tasks wi...

How do I set automatic drive letter assignment with "%MDL:driveposition%"? The drop-down box is not editable in "connecting drives -> add network drive"...

If I turn the "data protection" option on, will the old version of a file be saved (in the backup folder) even if there was an error copying over the new one?

Why can't I copy/paste multiple rules from/to the "advanced rules" box? Is this by design, a bug, or is something wrong with my system?

Thank you so much for this feature! Question: If I have multiple folder pairs set (1:1 correspondence) and the "abort flag" is set, will AllSync abort the task, or just the current folder pair? Assuming the answer is "the task", can there be a value "2" for the abort fl...

With copy method B, it still happens - however it seems to be much less. I'm beginning to think there is some problem with conflicts (another progrm may be accessing the same areas), and not so much within the routines themselves. I'm now testing method A.

I'm now testing with copy method C and a packet size of 10000. If I encounter the error again, I'll change to A or B. I'll keep you posted (pun intended).

OK... Finally had the opportunity to do some work on this. I have replaced the hard drive and the IDE cable, but I still get this error. I am convinced this has something to do with the copy process, as it always happens in the middle of a task, and chkdsk/scandisk always fixes the problem. I unders...

What happens when a file can't be copied?

Let's say that we have a file on the source, and it is newer than the file with the same name on the target. If an error occurred during the copy operation, and the file could not be copied from the source to the destination, will the old copy remain in the destination or will the file simply be mis...

View/edit scheduler when task is running

Is there any way to view or edit the main scheduler page (i.e. to see the list of tasks and execution times) while the scheduler is running a task? If not, can this be made available? At least can you provide the option to view the list of tasks, if allowing editing of the list is too complicated? T...
