Thanks!

By the way.... is there any way AllSync can resume the partial download when retrying after an error?

Retry on Error

AllSync is excellent!!! There is one feature missing, that would be an extremely important feature for me. If you would consider implementing it, I'd be grateful. I keep getting errors such as this when running profiles over VPN: ERROR: CopyFile1: ReadFile1: #64 - The specified network name is no lo...

Copy Methods

I have been using AllSync for a few days, and the backups are really slow. My needs are as follows: I am backing up a remote site (over VPN) to a local hard drive (let's call it "task X"), and I am also backing up a local drive to a NAS on the local network (let's call it "task Y"...

Your scheduler is much better :)
Microsoft doesn't e-mail me with the log.

Ooooh good hint... The problem I see is that I would need to have a scheduler handy.... I like the way I sepcify maximum run times and make it quit at a certain hour, I really use that stuff. I prefer to wait until you implement it, rather than lose this wonderful functionality. I also want to say w...

Got it, thanks.

Any plans to implement multithreading? I back up over VPN and the other side's upload speed is significantly lower than my donload speed... I could easily back up simultaneously if the program let me do it.

I understand about the tolerance time, but I'd like to run more than one task simultaneously.

My understanding is that if I have one task set to start at 2:00 and one at 2:01, the second will always begin after the first is done, and cannot run simultaneously. Is this correct?

Multitasking, Multithreading, Simultaneous Task Execution

What happens if a few tasks are set to the same time via the scheduler? Can AllSync run multiple tasks simultaneously, or will the program always wait until one task ends before another begins? TIA

Also, how can I stop a task that is running via the scheduler service?

Status info when running as service

I have AllSync to run as a service, and a task is set to run at night. This morning, I found the following in the log: 6/22/2005 2:00:00 AM - ================================================== 6/22/2005 2:00:00 AM - Task '***' started 6/22/2005 2:00:00 AM - ==========================================...
