AllSync 4 Manual ➝ Scheduler ➝ Options

General

  • Scheduler Activation
  • Automatically start and activate the scheduler after user login
  • Confirm exit of the activated Scheduler
  • Show scheduler window in foreground when error messages occur
  • Time interval for checking whether a task should be started

  • Scheduler Activation
Specify whether the scheduler should be automatically activated at startup. The following options are available:
    • Do not activate scheduler on startup
    • Activate scheduler on startup
    • Restore last activation state on startup
Note: This setting is ignored if the scheduler is started via the command line with the -a option.
  • Automatically start and activate scheduler after user login
With this option, the scheduler is started and activated immediately after user login. You can also specify that the scheduler window should be minimized at startup.
  • Confirm exit of the activated Scheduler
If this option is enabled, a confirmation dialog appears when exiting the scheduler.
  • Show scheduler window in foreground when error messages occur
If this option is enabled, the scheduler window is automatically brought to the foreground when an error occurs during a copy operation.
  • Time interval for checking whether a task should be started
Here you define the time intervals at which the scheduler checks whether a task from the task list should be started. The interval is specified in milliseconds.
The default value is 950 milliseconds, allowing for second-accurate execution. A higher interval reduces the CPU load of the active scheduler but may cause tasks to start later than scheduled.
    Example:
With an interval of 5000 milliseconds, the check occurs only every 5 seconds. As a result, a task may start up to 5 seconds later than scheduled.
