Windows 11 - latest version, HP computer.

After using Alldup for several days my task bar and start button search just had a blue line that would run from left to right (moving) under the search bar. I thought that my windows search function must have been corrupted and tried every fix I could find on the internet with no results. This continued for 4 days and on the fifth day it started working again. My conclusion is that all the files on my computer and network drives were being indexed and it started working when that was done.
I am posting this in case anyone else finds the same thing happening and does not know what to do. I was at the point of reloading Windows 11 from scratch which would have meant reinstalling all of my applications, when it resolved itself.
Other than this incident, this programs is great. I used it to clean up a friends data on a hard drive after her system crashed completely. She is a beginner as far as computers and had managed to duplicate about 5gb of files and Alldup worked perfectly with it's multiple selection criteria. This is a wonderful product and I would recommend it highly to anyone.

Did you restart the computer during that time? After using Alldup for several days my task bar and start button search just had a blue line that would run from left to right (moving) under the search bar.
And if so, was the line there, after restart, but before opening AllDup?
Kind of sounds like a weird interaction with your video drivers?
Restarting the computer into Safe Mode might help to point that out.
(Likewise, maybe a check for video driver update.)
