Hi,
I'm struggling with the following: i got my source file "myfile" and files in a aonther folder renamed by my backup software to "myfile_2026-0302-083416"
I can't choose the compare option "ignore 17 chars from filename end" because it applies to the first/source folder as well.
How to compare cases like this?

Find similar file names, Comparison: Ratcliff-Obershelp, might do?
Additionally, 'Compare only characters at the beginning of the filename', might help?
Otherwise, you could compare by Properties, rather then name, & Content at that.
That might work out, depending on your data set.

Unfortunately I cannot use the similar filename comparison as the main search method already is "Similar Images", which can't be combined.
FIndings images by filename (with or without timestamp from backup software) also won't work properly as Apple re-uses filenames like IMG_0001 after IMG_9999 is hit.
Comparing characters at the beginning will only work for some folders and files, not over the entire data set.
